We have had a couple of good sunny days and so we had a bit of a boon day in the garden with the help of our nephew Stuart with his hedge trimmer.
It is the Sawrey Marrow Show tomorrow followed by Rogers stag night, it could prove interesting!!
The ferry is out of action for some reason today.

A full house with no departures and  no arrivals today, a rare occurrence. A wet start but the sun did shine later in the day and the forecast is not to bad.
We had another positive trip advisor review this week, many thanks you know who you are.

The guests arriving today rang and said they were going to be a bit late so we the chance for a quick walk down the Dub lane and through the woods to the church then back along the side of Wilfin Beck and into Near Sawrey.
It has threatened rain for the last hour or two but nothing yet.

Another misty morning giving way to a fantastic sunny day.
I overheard a funny conversation at the Hill Top ticket office yesterday, a family dispute was brewing, the youngster clearly wanted to go to the playground and the mum was explaining they needed to go to the pub first and buy the tickets for the playground, that child is going to grow up confused!!
