Hooray at last summer has arrived it is a fantastic sunny day a great forecast and the phone has been red hot with B&B requests.
We have a Taiwan film crew in the village, not sure what they are filming it looks a bit haphazard.
Well done Robert a guest who stayed at the weekend he completed the Windermere marathon raising money for his local charity.

A stunning day Saturday and all guests arrived early so we had a big long walk, we set off over the tops to the shores of Windermere and then turned left and walked along the shoreline to Wray Castle, the castle is now open to the public and has a very nice tea-room where we had some cake and coffee and had a chat to Elaine who operates the tea-room.We came back a slightly different way,off the regular footpath and through the woods, a good walk, 2 hours there and a bit less coming back.

The Bank Holiday has been sunny and dry, well at least until today the rain has just arrived. Matthew has set of back down south so hopefully no traffic problems for him.

A bad day on the footy front yesterday, never mind bring on next season.
We invested in a new Persian rug the other day so we gave the flag floor a polish with some magic potion to make it gleam and launched the afore mentioned rug, and very smart it looks to.
