I got the first cut of the garden this week.

Brrrrr we have gone from summer like weather back to wintry conditions over this weekend.We had a gentleman check in who had been delayed by snow on his way over the Pennines 

Sawrey Stores has re-opened under a new name  HILLSTOP!! very clever and good luck for the season.

Lots and lots of Wood being extracted off Claife Heights, they have got the perfect weather at the moment it is like summer up here!! and long may it last.

A damp drizzly start to Easter and Helen has been busy baking bread rolls and making these Easter egg themed biscuits for the guest bedrooms mmmmmmm

Easter is upon us and although there is a bit of snow on the tops it is very pleasant and at last the wind has dropped and the rain has stopped, it is forecast to be a dry bank Holiday, fingers crossed!!
