Helen has been busy today and produced these freshly baked bread buns.

Again all the seasons in one day, Helen was busy this morning baking bread, we are planning to bake our breakfast rolls fresh daily, when I say we I clearly mean Helen, anyway the first batch are brill so it looks like its going to be the norm.

We headed of for a walk this afternoon down to the shores of Windermere and were really lucky to miss a massive storm skirting the area.

We came across this little tea room on the Cunsey road.

A full house tonight and the incoming guests all arrived by lunchtime.
This meant we could get out for a walk this afternoon, we first called in at the garden centre for some compost and then parked up and walked up Skelghyll.

Although it was a bit gloomy we had some great views especially from Jenkyn Crag.
An interesting thing was when we came across a couple of sets of gate stoops,it turned out that this was the line of the water pipe which runs from Thirlmere to supply Manchester with its water, a truly amazing piece of engineering!

Yet another dry sunny day in Sawrey.
We had a bit of a project these last few weeks and today with the good help of Roger from Far Sawrey we completed it.
The pictures below tell the story.
