We had a walk down to Esthwaite Water tonight, a brief dry spell in an otherwise wet day.

The Osprey is back on Esthwaite Water but keep it quiet its a secret.

It turned into a nice sunny evening and we had a quick walk up to the tarns before supper.

The farmers were all busy trying to take advantage of the brief dry spell.

Two classic shots of Moss Eccles Tarn.

We had an interesting letter at the weekend, it was from a publisher of the Farm Holiday Guides, last year we took up the offer to place and advert in a publication called Bed & Breakfast Stops in Britain, we got a great deal so took up the offer, this year they want to use the picture in our advert as the cover shot and also give us a free!!!! yes free advert and a credit on the inside cover. Not bad for a snapshot we took in 2006.

The picture in question.
