Liverpool

Spent the evening wathching footy with Matthew, comfortable win for the reds.
Been a really busy day for teas, Hill Top sold out of tickets before 3:30 so that ended our day early.Managed to get some grass cut whilst waiting for a family of 4 Japanese.
These are a couple of the watering holes in Hawkshead, the first is the Queens Head and the other the Kings Arms.

Ticket office

Another sunny dry day but not to busy in the tearooms, that allowed me to get some hedges cut at Buckle Yeat and at home leaving Helen & Heather to hold the fort.
After tea me Helen & Matthew went a short walk down to Esthwaite and on the way back met neighbour Will, (Heathers dad) and his golden retriever Chloe.
This is a picture of the Potter fans waiting at the ticket office this morning.

Sunny Sawrey

Another fantastic sunny sunny day in Sawrey, plenty of people in the village today and quite a few calling in for teas.
Denis is a bit down tonight after watching Preston North End only draw after taking the lead against Derby.
After tea we just had walk up the village and the bats are out and feeding outside Buckle Yeat.

Up Tops

A busy day and,a really good day on the weather front.
After chicken pasta bake for tea me and Helen went for a walk "up tops"
on the way up the lane took this first picture of neighbour Alan's cottage garden.

We strayed off the footpath to get higher and take this shot of Esthwaite and the fish farm in the distance.

From the boardwalk around Moss Eccles these are a procession of geese, Canadian I think.

This is the classic shot of Near Sawrey from up Stoney Lane with the Tower Bank Arms, Buckle Yeat and Hill Top all in the picture.

Oh and I nearly forgot what about the Test Match!!!!
