Yet another cold but fantastic sunny day with snow on the tops, the best place for it.

We had the usual open fire roaring in the lounge at Buckle Yeat this morning, roaring a bit much as the flue caught fire enveloping the village in smoke.

Helen took this picture in Hill Top garden this afternoon.

Tonight it has gone very cold with a frost forming on the cars.
I have been up to the fire at Buckle Yeat and it is a strange and eerie looking village with the Tower Bank Arms being in darkness, the Tower is the focus of the village and with all respect to Phil and Dorothy the sooner it reopens the better, the word is the bar could be open on Saturday.
We watched the football tonight England V Uruguay a good game with Crouch getting the equaliser and Cole the winner in the last minute.
