Denis & Margaret went off today to Morecambe for yet more bedding plants. It was a bright start and then amazingly it started to rain while we were serving breakfast, then later in the day the sun shone and it got very warm, all afternoon there was a breeze blowing straight from the continent. Tonight a spectacular thunder storm has been rumbling over Grizdale forest.

This is baby rabbit making a quick getaway from nibbling the plants at home.

We had a walk through the bluebell woods, the bluebells are a couple of days from their best, these are some primroses Helen took.

I am reliably informed these are wood anemonies.
