We went to Barrow on a hospital visit, an aunt who unfortunately is in and out of hospital on a regular basis, we went via the coast road and diverted to Roa Island for a brief photo shoot.





This is the Customs and Excise watchtower used in earlier times to check on the sailings in and out of Walney Channel.
It was a stunning sunny day but when we got to the coast it was very windy, back in Sawrey it was like summer.
