Bright dry and sunny all day today.
The air has an autumnal feel to it and the trees are starting to look their best especially if you can catch them with a bit of sunshine on them.
We have just spoke to Denis & Margaret who will be back home tomorrow after a couple of weeks in the sun.
Mr McGregor was able to sit out on the bench today, it amazes me but while I was sweeping the leaves up this morning and after I had sat Mr M on his bench a couple who were scurrying up to Beatrix Potters house Hill Top with their tickets clutched in their hands casually remarked on seeing the old chap "Oh look a Roald Dahl character"!!!
