A cold start to the day and we had a shower of snow overnight which then froze.
We only had a couple in last night so we made an early start and parked at Ambleside and set off on a good walk,it took us from Ambleside and around Loughrigg Fell,past Loughrigg Tarn and then down to Grasmere and along the shores of Rydal water on the Loughrigg Terrace and back to Ambleside,the views were stunning due to the covering of snow on the high fells.
