It has been a mild dry day in Sawrey today, Hill Top looked quite busy and the car park soon filled up.



We managed a quick walk to Moss Eccles this afternoon and there is still a thin covering of ice on the tarn.
Just before we set off we met former neighbour Andrew with his wife and daughter, before he was married Andrew lived at Garth Cottage next door to us and was brought up in Sawrey, he left over 20 years ago.
