A miserable wet dreary day today I am afraid to report,but on the positive side the ferry should be back in action on Monday so fingers crossed.
This Sunday sees Sawrey May Queen festivities so the organisers will be hoping for better weather.
Also this weekend is the Windermere Marathon which is a full circuit of Windermere, certain sections of the roads are to be closed in the morning so with no ferry and other roads closed we are thinking Sunday is going to very quiet.
