It has been the Sawrey Marrow show today and it was a great turnout with lots of entries and lots of visitors.
Roger won the the prize for the biggest marrow with a massive specimen weighing almost 100lb.
This years show was sponsored by the Tower Bank Arms and landlord Anthony's mum was the judge.







Today was also a bit special as the local vicar blessed two benches installed outside Braithwaite Hall in memory of two sorely missed locals Willie and Barbara
