September so far has been a cracking month and today was a fantastic sunny day, we had a full house with no departures hence no incoming guests so we took the chance for a good long walk. We walked up over Claife Heights and then through Low Wray and on to Outgate, we then crossed the road and went up to Barngates, a quick refreshment stop at the Drunken Duck before setting off towards Tarn Hows, we then walked through Hawkshead Hill before joining the footpath over to Hawkshead church then on to Roger Ground and then along the back of Estwaite Water and back into the village phew!!!
