A quiet uneventful week, we have been quiet on the B&B front so have been catching up on a bit of decorating and sourcing some new bedlinen for a couple of rooms, great fun!!
The weather has taken a turn for the worse today with a fine drizzle all day, we are expecting gales if the weather man is to be believed.

A quick joke Helen spotted in the paper the other day,
A man goes into a monastery and finds himself in the kitchen, he spots a someone peeling potatoes, "are you the Friar?" he asks,"No" says the man "I'm the chip monk"

Re the visit from the hotel inspector a couple of weeks ago, apparently we did very well and have been given a Silver award.
