A fantastic sunny day and although it was a bit cold there was no wind so it felt warm in the sunshine.

Helen and her mum went up to the Braithwaite Hall, there was a bring and buy and a Christmas gift sale.
I nipped to Hawkshead to buy the postage stamps for the Christmas cards which will be in the post tomorrow. The views across Esthwaite Water were stunning with the mist lifting and the sun shining, i could not resist stopping and snapping a few pictures.

I put the outside tree up and got the lights on it, I will try to take a picture but my camera is not clever enough for taking pictures in the dark.







This afternoon the mist rolled in again on Esthwaite Water.
