A right mix of weather this week frost and snow on the tops and  then gale force winds and torrential rain.
We have had a couple of good walks and these shots were taken looking over Esthwaite Water towards Hawkshead.
The village is all of a sudden very very quiet

The churches of Hawkshead and Sawrey have joined together in joint fund raising they are working towards the upkeep and work of both Churches, they have produced a calendar "The Esthwaite Valley" which amateur photographers of the villages have entered their photographs all local scenes, the calendar is for sale £5 plus a extra £1 for postage and packing are available from Mrs Elizabeth Mallett, Esthwaite How Farmhouse, Near Sawrey,Ambleside, Cumbria LA22 0LB
