The first day of October and it felt like mid-summer with a fantastic sunny day.
We opened the tea rooms today for the first time after an enforced lay off (I'm back to full fitness now) and it was a steady day with all the customers looking to sit in the garden.

We sent the blog out for a walk today with a couple regulars Ivor & Gill they were heading for Helm Crag and the famous landmark the Lion & the Lamb.It is one of the Alfred Wainwright walks featured on television recently. These are their pictures of the day.
