We had arrival times for all our incoming guests so we managed to get out and go for a swim, no not in this river, they have a perennial problem with bridge jumpers in the summer, I don't think they will be jumping in this torrent.
The river runs by the the old Dolly Blue works at Back Barrow which is now a hotel and leisure center.
