Yesterday rain ceased late afternoon and just for a brief moment the sun came out as it dropped down and lit up the autumn colours.






Today so far it is dry but a lot cooler, Derek and Vicky headed off home this morning,we will not see them till the spring when they return to Sawrey.

We took all the hanging baskets down this morning, they were beginning to look a bit scruffy.
