The book is called Six Months In Wonderland, we shall read and review, a bit like Richard and Judy I guess (not)  www.sixmonthsinwonderland.com

A goldfinch feeding on some seed heads taken by regular visitor Brian.
Brian and his wife Joyce were telling me that their new dentists now offers gift vouchers!!!! I'm not the most imaginative gift buyer but I could imagine the reaction if I bought Helen a dental gift voucher for a Christmas or birthday present.

Another busy week at Buckle Yeat and today the sun is out ( for one day only apparently)

The last couple of nights in the the village I have spotted a hedgehog on the road last night I met a badger coming down the swilling shop and of course loads of rabbits.
We should be able to get out for a walk later but in the meantime some shots of the garden which is looking colourful.

The car needed to go into the garage for what we hope will be minor repairs ( some hope), so we took it down last night and walked back, for a change we walked along the western shore ie the Hawkshead/Newby Bridge road.

It's supposed to be flaming June!! but at least it's not as bad as forecast, we had a good walk last night down the dub and through to Far Sawrey before turning back into village.
As mentioned in the national press we do have a lot of rabbits about and the ones up near Hill Top are getting used to people taking pictures.

The biggest game of jenga I have ever seen.
Take a look at this article about the rabbits, a bit over the top methinks with talks of eagles and splits and rifts in the village, its not like the Daily Mail to exaggerate!!!!!
