We had a brief flurry of snow and hail this morning and 30 minutes after these pictures were taken the sun had come out and the snow had all gone.

A couple of regular Buckle Yeat visitors arrived yesterday and brought these flowers for Helen, we had put them in touch with Sheila, another guest from Derbyshire who is a very good artist and they had commissioned a painting of Moss Eccles and were very pleased with the result.

Denis and Margaret arrived home from Spain this afternoon, a couple of weeks early alas due to a family bereavment.

A normal Sunday with most rooms checking out, I nipped down to Ulverston with flowers for my mums grave and then back home.
Helen rang her mum in Spain (they come home tomorrow) Matthew rang his mum and then we went to the TBA for a sandwich.
We had a short walk up to Moss Eccles later on.
Liverpool had a good win at Bolton, just as well because later on Everton won and they are turning out as the main contenders for 4th place,we should be challenging for 1st place but there you go.

We have had a wild and windy night, a couple of times through the night I just switched on the light to check the electric was still on, thankfully it was.

Today it has turned colder and the weather man is saying snow is on the way!!
What looked like was going to be a quiet weekend turned into a busy one with a few last minute bookings.
