Yet another dry sunny day in Sawrey.
We had a bit of a project these last few weeks and today with the good help of Roger from Far Sawrey we completed it.

At last its the big day, the General Election, we walked over the tops and called in at Braithwaite Hall to cast our votes and will await the decision, I think the arguing will start then rather than abate


A couple of football hooligans, not sure if its Carlisle Utd or Barrow AFC they are suporting

Finished painting the victorian table and chairs which have been residing in Denis & Margarets cellar for ages, there is also a victorian plant stand, I will take and post a picture of it when it is finished and adorned with plants.

Another dry day up north, whats all this talk of a bank holiday washout?
A good walk down through Cunsey this afternoon.

A full house again this morning so a busy busy breakfast, the weatherb has turned vey cold again but we had a walk up to Moss Eccles this afternoon and the lane is dust dry.

The raised beds are about done, we just need a bit of manure and we will be in business, that said it is a bit nippy to planting much out.
