Hawkshead Show today and I am afraid the weather is not being to kind, we have just had a torrential downpour although as I write the sun is shining.
Sawrey seems very busy this morning and I guess Hill Top will be selling out of tickets this afternoon.
The new web site is up and running and I have been sorting some pictures to put on the gallery page and will be getting them on the site asap.www.buckle-yeat.co.uk
Buckle Yeat is situated in the village of Near Sawrey. The name Buckle Yeat is over 300 years old and it means fasten the gate.In years gone by the gate referred to would be the gate to the village. Near Sawrey was once home to the children's writer Beatrix Potter about whom the movie Miss Potter is all about. Hill Top Farm where she wrote many of her stories is a museum and is open to the public.

Regarding the football all I can say is "its early days" or "oh no its going to be a long season"
A fantastic sunny day yesterday and we had a big long hike up Claife Heights so lots of good photo opportunities.
BBC1 8pm tonight Country File visits the local area with a few local people interviewed not to be missed.
