The clocks went back yesterday so the options for getting out for a walk are limited.
Its been a dry Monday after a sodden Sunday, we are busy tonight but have rooms available from tomorrow for a couple of days.

Dry and bright again today but going very cold as the sun drops.
Half term next week, well it is round here, amazingly we still have a couple of rooms available mid-week so make the most of this dry spell and catch the autumn colours at their best

What a fantastic sunny Sunday we had a long 10 mile plus walk up past the tarns and onto Latterbarrow which is over 800  feet above sea level, breath taking views!! and we have never seen as many people out walking, cycling, horse riding or just having a picnic.

We are having the best of the weather I think, wet nights and dry days with more good weather on the way.
I found a camera memory card on the Buckle Yeat gate stoop someone has clearly changed their card whilst taking a picture of Mr McGregor, it has some christening photos on so I mention it hear with the rare chance the owner might read the blog, well you never know.
