Despite all the adverse weather reports from all over the country the lakes are basking in sunshine, cold nights but fantastic days.
I had to go in to Kendal,so I got the shopping, had a haircut and called in at the shop and saw Alan and Dad.







When I got back the expected guests had arrived so we walked on to the shop just before it closed to pick up the papers, the papers always came down to the Tower Bank but now that has all changed, I guess the shop owners prefer people to pick up their own newspapers with the idea they may buy something else, common sense really.
