Another bank holiday Sunday they come thick and fast at this time of the year, fairly busy with teas this afternoon.



We had a walk up Coopers Lane and then along the edge of Moss Eccles and we both commented on how parched the footpath was.

The picture below is the nest featured ealier in the month, the parent bird is leaving the nest at regular intervals so we managed to get this shot without causing to much distress, soon after the chicks relaxed and waited for their next feed.
