A beautiful sunny day, cold but clear blue skies all day.
Today Matthew has been in touch on Skype, an internet telephony system, it was good because he was able to to talk to his gran and grandad. He and Sarah set off in the early hours of tomorrow on their trek, the Inca trail to Machu Picchu.







We where busy with teas this morning, I think we got the bulk of a coach trip who fancied cream teas, it went quiet this afternoon.
Denis & Margaret went to Morecambe market with idea of buying some pansies for the hanging baskets, the trouble was the stallholder never got the message they where coming and so it was a wasted journey.
We managed a walk down to Esthwaite Water this evening, there is a new fence along the lake shore the reason for it's existence I'm not sure, but will find out when I see Graham the farmer
