Despite the weather forecast it has been a sunny and warm day.
Derek & Vicky our most regular guests arrived in time for breakfast as usual so it made a busy morning with 15 people to feed.


This first picture is a stunning pink magnolia in the garden of High Green Gate.



There was a vintage car rally which passed through the village this morning, I took this picture but the occupants totally ignored me, I thought they might wave.




Tonight we went up Coopers and to Moss Eccles, we saw a nest on the far side of the tarn and went to investigate, it turned out to be Canada Geese I think I counted 5 goslings
