All action today in the village, lots of wedding party guests arriving,Japanese tourists by the coach load and to cap it all the mountain rescue service was called out to an incident on Claife Heights, a mountain bike rider had come a cropper and sustained back injuries, the Coniston Mountain Rescue team had stabilised him and brought him off the tops and the ambulance picked him up from outside the Tower Bank Arms, hopefully they were being over cautious and he makes a full recovery.





The wedding party at the Garth is in full swing and we have been asked to join the party so we will pop up for a few drinks later.
