Another busy breakfast and a few rooms left this morning, a really friendly Japanese couple arrived and are keen to talk English, they are both teachers and have already invited us to Japan.

It has been a showery blustery day with a few people sitting outside when the sun did shine.



Matthew went to Kendal and he set off to the ferry, the ferry was off so he headed to Ambleside but got stuck behind a bus and a wagon that had met on the road at Outgate and neither was giving way, after waiting for ages nothing was moving so he had to turn around a second time and go round by Newby Bridge.
