It's been a brilliant day for Hawkshead Show despite the forecast of rain.
The village has been quiet today, a lot of people have been at the show apparently.
Denis & Margaret have gone into Kendal on a shopping and hairdresser mission.
We have one room free tonight and no callers as yet but it is getting to the time most people start to look.
The Tower Bank which is open all day now seems to do well early evening, there always seems to be quite a few early doors drinkers on the front, I might join them in while.
