If the village kids came trick or treating last night we never heard them, I took the sweets up to Paul and Janes kids at the farm.
It has been a fantastic day again, we only had one couple in for breakfast so this afternoon we went up Claife Heights and then down to the shores of Windermere then back along past Strawberry gardens and Harrowslack before climbing ferry hill and back into Sawrey.
Up on Claife Heights there was a frost and it was still there at 2,o'clock, it must have been very cold overnight, the gritting lorry went through the village last night so the forecasters got it right.
It's freezing again tonight, cars are covered in frost and looks like it will be a good day tomorrow.
