It started off bright and sunny this morning but rain is on the way.
Its St Swithens day( many different spellings )and if the old wives tale is to be believed we could get rain for 40 days.

The village seems quiet today, the lull before the storm because I am sure there will be a lot more people about tomorrow.

We have a room available for one night some people who had booked a while ago had to cancel the last day of their holiday, no takers yet.

Mr McGregor is in big demand for photos today, a lot more children on holiday so we should be able to collect a few more pounds for the Tarn Hill playground.
