Not a great day on the weather front, a short dry spell this afternoon but rain this evening so no chance of a walk.

A big day for us all today, Matthew has moved away to Leicester ready to start his new career on Tuesday.

The news is full of the dreaded Foot & Mouth disease, it has been detected on a farm in Surrey and with any luck that will be where it ends. We all hope the terrible problems of 2001 will not happen again.
