Today was the first day of a new blog feature, this is Helen's brainwave and in a nutshell the idea is to ask a selection of guests to take our camera out with them when they set off for their day, the plan is then to return with some fantastic pictures of the Lake District.

The first " victims" are John and Trudy from Durham along with their daughter Kate, a family who have stayed on a number of occasions and love walking.
They spent the day walking around Grasmere and looking at the pictures tells me they walked the so called "Coffin Route"and then along Loughrigg Terrace. It was not the best brightest day but they got some good pictures.

I think we will call this new regular feature "Taking the Blog for a walk"
