After the torrential rain yesterday today it has been sunshine all the way.
We parked at Tilberthwaite and walked over the tops to Slaters bridge and then by-passed Little Langdale and on to Elterwater, we had a sandwich and a pint sat out in the sun at the Britannia Inn.
Then we set off along the road towards Colwith,then on the footpath past Colwith Force and eventually made our way back to the car via the quarry.
