Near Sawrey

We had a delivery from America this morning it was from one of our avid blog followers from across the pond, the lady in question is a teacher called Buena pronounced as she told me herself Buena as in Tuna, she stayed with us a few years ago and being a big fan of Beatrix Potter she uses Sawrey as a theme in her class at St Luke School, Shoreline, Washington.
I have put a link on the right, she set her pupils of class 3A a project, using a picture we had on the blog a few weeks ago of a group of Herdwick stood on a rock looking down, the theme was "what are these sheep looking at" Buena sent me the results all made into a book with all the essays and illustrations in, the kids imaginations are fantastic and we have had great fun reading them, the book is now in the lounge at Buckle Yeat for all our guests to read.
So well done all the budding authors of class 3A.

These are a few shots of Esthwaite Water last night when we had a stroll before supper.
