These are a few pictures taken today of the Claife viewing station which has been made safe and partially restored without totally rebuilding, you can see the basic layout of the building in safety.

As soon as we walked in you could here this eerie wailing sound which was very spooky we then discovered this wooden contraption above a window which is shown in the last picture and the wind was blowing through it causing the ghostly wailing noise. At night it will sound the the Claife Crier, which is another story
