It kept dry all day and it was quite busy on the tea front,Mark and Carole set off on their long trip back to Purley.
We had a group of guests arrive who have been booked in by The Injured Jockey's Fund,they where all independent couples but soon got friendly, we had photo finishes, stewards inquiry's and horse sale's all afternoon, the only tip we got was "keep your money in your pocket"



We went a walk up Coopers Lane and then to a track off the path to get a bit higher and took this picture of Roger Ground with Coniston Old Man in the background.



This is a mushroom we found on the way up to the tarns.I will avoid the fungi jokes.
