A nice surprise in the post this morning a cheque from United Utilities, compensation for the flooding last month, I was straight on the phone to ask why we never received anything at home where the problem was worse.

I spotted this car "flying" through the village yesterday.

Susan and Peter from Leeds arrived this afternoon and as usual at this time of year they fetched some beans and tomatoes from their greenhouse.
Just the one room free this evening, a cancellation, no takers today though, full tomorrow.
