The party from the Midlands all left this morning, they had a great celebration weekend and the weather was perfect for them. They are a great bunch and so friendly to each other and to us it was a pleasure to have them in the house.

Denis got wind of a photo shoot up at Hill Top aka "The House of Miss Potter"so hightailed it up there with his camera and got these pictures of the main man.

 

 

We were busy with teas all day and I think it might be a taster of things to come, the National Trust had car parking attendants out trying to minimise any problems, they had cars in Sawrey House car park and the drive at Tower Bank House
