It has been another summer like day.

The village is so busy it is untrue, we all thought the recent Miss Potter film would increase the number of visitors to Sawrey but if the first few days of the season proper is anything to go by it is going to to a long summer.

We had a good walk down to Esthwaite last night and we walked up to Moss Eccles tonight before tea and on the way down had a crack with Paul from the farm.

We had a room available due to a cancellation and the good people at Glenridding tourist office sent us a couple who were on their way down from Edinburgh.
